During this workshop children use their imagination and creativity to turn their teacher into a creature. In addition, students learn both drawing technique and colour theory in order to bring their creations to life. The workshop can be undertaken by single year groups or full key stages.

With a strong focus on the creation of 'setting' and 'narrative' children learn how art, melody and other sensory elements can be used as tools to help them to create poetry that is both meaningful and emotive.

World Building
Workshop
Children are encouraged to let their imagination go wild by creating their very own fairy tale kingdom. The workshop consists of three lessons each lasting up to an hour. Within these sessions children will learn and explore a variety of cross curricular activities from drawing technique, character development, storytelling, teamwork and collaboration. 'Kids Kingdom' can be undertaken by a full key stage or the whole school and can be scaled up or down to suit specific requirements.

Workshop
During this workshop students will learn a range of skills designed to enable and empower them to become more proficient and confident artists. Step by step they will learn how to better understand scale, perspective and mark making techniques. This workshop is designed to help students to better understand, observe and visually record the world around them.

Poetry, Sensory
Workshop
The primary aim of this workshop is to use the wonder of space to inspire a love of poetry. By using a combination of light and music the children will explore the solar system whilst enjoying a narration version of my original space poem entitled 'Imagine If.' Children will then create their own space poems and perform them to their peers.

Drawing and Shape
Workshop
In this workshop, children learn a range of skills to help them to become confident artists. They will be encouraged to observe and recognise that all objects both natural and man made can be rendered using basic shape and lines.
Suitable for - EYFS, KS1 and KS2 children
Duration - 30 minutes to 40 minutes

Illustration and Scene Development
Workshop
Within this workshop, children will learn how to plan and structure a story using illustrations. Students will find out how to dissect text in order to create illustrations that reflect the story.
Suitable for - KS1 and KS2 children

With a strong focus on creative thinking, observation and camera technique, children are encouraged to explore their environment in pursuit
of snappy shapes. By the time the workshop is over students will be able to turn even the most mundane objects into something both vibrant and exciting.
